
Dr. Eric Presser has lectured widely on the benefit of Screening for Prevention and Early Detection for lung cancer. As an innovator and inventor, Presser is a consultant for the leading medical equipment companies, including Covidien, Life Technologies, and Galen Technologies.
Eric Presser, M.D. is an attending Thoracic Surgeon at FCPP in the Coachella Valley. He is also an Associate Professor at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine.He serves on the Desert Cancer Foundation board, is a member of the Medical Advisory Board of Gilda’s Club, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Dr. Presser received his medical degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Presser completed his surgical internship and residency at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center, where he was appointed to the position of Chief Resident and completed his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center after spending a year in cardiothoracic training at Louisiana State University.
Board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. Presser has practiced as an attending thoracic surgeon with FCPP since May 2012. Prior to that, he resided in New York and was employed as a thoracic surgeon in both a private practice and the North Shore LIJ Health System.
Dr. Presser is an experienced and passionate advocate for patients who have been exposed to asbestos causing Mesothelioma and lung cancer and feels strongly that those who have been tragically affected should be heard and receive a fair resolution for their suffering.
